Event Details
To help with travel planning, the first start on Saturday morning is 10am; course closure on Monday is 3:00pm. For those flying to Auckland on Saturday morning, please note that for Saturday's event it's at least a 100 minute drive from the airport so allowing a minimum of 2 1/2 hours is advised.

Race:: Double middle with afternoon chasing start
Map: Lake Rototoa
Location: Tasman Road, South Head
Setter: Rob Garden
Controller: Marquita Gelderman
Terrain & Vegetation: Radiata pine forest while the remainder is open native bush (predominantly Manuka). The pine forest has large areas of pampas grass, also known as “cutty grass”
Noteworthy features: This map has only been used previously for the Long event at Oceania 2017

Map: Hedley Dunes
Location: Rimmer Road, Helensville
Setter: Andrew Bell
Controller: Geoff Mead
Terrain & Vegetation: Radiata pine planted on undulating sand dune terrain, with good runnability. Areas of complex contour detail. There are also small pockets of native New Zealand bush with reduced visibility and runnability. There is a network of widely spaced forestry roads and some motorbike tracks, but otherwise there are few paths.
Noteworthy features: This map has only been used previously for the WMG 2017 long final and the 2018 National's Classic race.
